Q. How long will my painting take to dry?

A.Depending on climate, the warmer the quicker it will dry. This will also be governed by the thickness of paint applied. We do have ways of transporting wet paintings so there is no need to worry if you are travelling the day after class.

Q. How quickly will I be able to learn this technique?

A.I recommend students to take 5 classes in one subject to start but true success depends on plenty of practice at home. Learning to paint is the same a playing the piano. It does not just happen but the practice is the fun bit!

Q. Do I need to bring my own paint and brushes to class?

A. No, everything you will need to paint your masterpiece will be supplied by Julias Art Workshop on the day. This is an excellent way to try the technique and find out how easy it is. You will know on the first day if this is for you. The specialist equipment will be available for purchase after each class.

Q. When practicing at home, how will I know if I am practicing the technique correctly?

A. Detailed instructional books and videos are available to aid with practice at home.

Q. I am left-handed, will that matter?

A. No. Julia can help you equally as she can paint with either hand.
